Editorial Policy
Purpose
GlobalBenefits.org publishes independent, plain-language guidance that helps readers reach official U.S. public-benefit resources. Accuracy, attribution, and useful next steps take priority over traffic or advertising.
Source standards
Benefit amounts, income limits, deadlines, eligibility rules, contacts, and application procedures should be supported by primary sources. Preferred sources include administering agencies, statutes, regulations, program manuals, official forms, and signed notices. Secondary sources may provide context but should not be the sole authority for a material eligibility claim.
Review process
New and materially updated guides are checked for jurisdiction, program year, official application destination, internal consistency, and source date. Pages distinguish general screening from an official agency determination. Automated tools may assist research and quality checks, but publication responsibility remains with GlobalBenefits.org.
Updates and independence
High-impact pages are prioritized when agencies publish new amounts, waivers, manuals, or procedures. Advertisers and distribution partners do not approve articles or determine conclusions. Sponsored material, if any, is labeled.
